Throughout her life, Clarice worked for various schools as a pastry baker. She also worked as a department manager at Sears, and as an office manager for Tri-Bell Electric company. She enjoyed homemaking, gardening, and cooking. Her greatest joy was found in loving her family and others. Clarice went by many names, but those closest to her either called her Kitten, "Clabber," or Nana.
Clarice was preceded in death by her infant children, Anthony Gene, Ella Dean, and Linda May, her parents, sister Ruth, and brother Henry. She is survived by her husband Weldon, and sons Larry (Connie) and Jerry (Cheryl). Clarice also leaves behind her loving brothers, Charles (Barbara), Don (Dorothy), and sister Mary. Nana leaves behind seven grandchildren Suzi, Weldon, Jennifer, Jason, Jeremy, Nathan, and Daniel, 23 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Clarice loved the Lord and shared her love for Christ with others. She stood next to her husband as a pastor's wife throughout his ministry. She was still baking pies in her eighties for fundraisers to support youth and children’s ministries. There was never a baby that wasn’t hugged or child without a cookie as long as Nana was nearby.
Clarice “Nana” Bell will live on through the lives of those she touched on earth, and with her in eternity for those who have put their faith in Christ.
