Clint Walker Sr. was born on November 26, 1952 in Dallas, Texas, the son of James and Hazel Walker. He attended South Oak Cliff High School. He was known to be a strong, loving, caring, smart, and outgoing man. Throughout his life, he worked for the City of Dallas, Dallas Independent School District, and later became an independent contractor with a passion of helping others.
Clint was a faithful and devoted member of God House of Worship Missionary Baptist Church. He served as a deacon in the ministry, loved to sing, and actively participated during praise and worship.
Clint was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by both parents, James and Hazel Walker, his two sisters Vivian Humphrey and Jessie Faye Williams, and his two brothers James Walker Jr. and Johnny Walker.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters Linda Faye Wilmore (Roderick) and Katrina Denise King (Keith), son Clint Walker Jr. (Tricy), brother Jerome Walker (Angela “Kay”), sister Maxine Winston (Glen), six grandchildren Latoiya Blakely, Brittany Blakely, Keara Swarn (Amila), Heaven Campbell, Alexis Sanders, and Adonis Walker, four great-grandchildren Nicolas Caldwell, Brooklyn Johnson, Levell Sanders, and Davion Sanders all of Dallas, Texas; along with, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Clint Walker Sr. took his peaceful departure on Friday, May 6, 2022, to return to his Lord and all of his loved ones who have gone before him. The countless memories of generosity, love, and laughter that Clint Walker Sr. shared will forever be embedded in the hearts of those who knew him and the numerous lives he touched, especially his family and friends.
