An angel has left us too soon. Daniel James Cummiskey was born on July 4, 1985 in Dallas, Texas. His love for his family, friends and life was contagious. He attended Shelton School and graduated with honors in the fifth graduating class where he became a lifelong fan of all Shelton Charger’s athletics. Danny is predeceased by his paternal grandmother (Jean Cummiskey) and his beloved Abuelo (Juan Raul Quintana). Danny is survived by his father Keith Cummiskey, his mother Marie Quintana, his step father Dr. Jim Siminski, sister Katie Cummiskey, brother Brian Cummiskey, step-sisters Alexandra Siminski and Diana Skellenger and husband Sean, his maternal grandmother Antinea Quintana and paternal grandfather Pat Cummiskey, as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles who he adored. Danny touched the lives of all who knew him and will be forever missed. He inspired everyone through his gentle soul, kindness and his childlike love of life. Danny was caring, grateful and blessed with a deep faith and love of God. Those of us that have to carry on through this tragic loss will see Danny in all the simple joys of life. A service to celebrate Danny’s life will be held Saturday, October 21st at 10:00am at Christ the King Catholic Church. Danny's family asks that contributions be made in Danny's memory to PLAN of North Texas, an affiliate of Jewish Family Services of Dallas, 5402 Arapaho Rd, Dallas, TX 75248.
