Darnell James Brockington was born January 22, 1945 in Lubbock, TX and moved to Dallas, TX at an early age. He was proceeded in death by his parents Elder Tom C. Whorton and Dorothy Whorton; brother Tom Whorton, Jr.
Darnell worked for Raytheon for 38 years. He loved music and his favorite TV shows were The Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal.
Darnell is preceded in passing by his brother-in-law AC.
Darnell leaves to cherish his memories Vernell his wife of 17 years; children, Ricky Brockington (Miriam), Ashley Brockington, and granddaughter Victoria; Lakita Isaac and Khalil Gibson; siblings, Terry Whorton (Virginia), Iwhona Carter, and Timothy Whorton; stepchildren, Christina Smith (Timothy) and Cynthia Smith; grandchildren, Je'rel Davis, Zavonne Nunn, Khaliyl Burns and great grandchildren, Nehemiah Nunn and Zhaviah Nunn and a host of extended family and friends.
