Davidson Flowers was the fifth child born to David Flowers and Crestor Dunn. He was also the twin brother of David. Being the younger and smaller twin, he was nicknamed “Little Baby”, and he was called “Cousin Little Baby” and “Uncle Little Baby” throughout the family. Born in Hearne, Texas, he attended Blackshear High School. Little Baby accepted Christ at an early age and loved quartet-style gospel music. Little Baby loved to grill, fish, play cards, and work on cars. He could fix anything and was known for his mastery of barbecued brisket and banana pudding. All of these attributes earned him another nickname – “Super Dave”! He was preceded in Glory by his parents, David and Crestor; brothers, James and David; and sisters, Alice and Ann. Left to forever cherish his memory are Jerry Sterling, his spouse, Tina, and their children, Keisha, Shauntaya, and Ashford; Gwendlyn Flowers and her children, Tubarick, Deleon, and Mavis; Vincent Flowers and his children, Liateka, Niateka, Kiyawna, Vincent Jr. and Byron; Demetra Flowers-Jones, her spouse, Brian, and their children, Tenaya and Christopher; Janice Flowers and her children, FraDon and Tyjia; Kedra Flowers and her children, Akeia and Milan; and Kimberly Flowers, and her child, Sierra. Little Baby has 23 great-grandchildren and an extra special relationship with his nephews, Tony and Johnny, plus a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Carrying an Eternal Love is Mrs. Joyce F. Flowers, his love and helpmate of 40 years.
