

Dawn Jamison, 44, of Frisco, Texas peacefully passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on October 25, 2016. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Dawn was born in Dallas, Texas on October 5, 1972 to William Joseph and Carol Worley Shine. She graduated from Bishop Lynch High School and attended Richland College. She was married to Scott Jamison on April 17, 1999.
Dawn was diagnosed with AML Leukemia on May 26th and fought valiantly with dignity and grace to achieve remission with multiple rounds of chemotherapy. From day one, she assured all of us that “everything is going to be okay.” With her beautiful smile and message of “with God on my side anything is possible”, she inspired many with her positive attitude and faith in God.
She is survived by her loving husband, Scott, her children, Tyler and Will, mother, Carol Shine, brother, Billy Shine and wife, Susan, nieces, Elizabeth Shine and Emily Shine, half-brother, Robbie Shine and wife, Dianna, nieces, Jessica Baas and Leanne Shine, maternal grandmother, Mary Trizza Worley, Aunts, Mary Eileen Shine Abell, Nancy Shine Sullivan, Uncles, Timothy J. Shine, Jim B. Worley, Michael D. Worley, Mother-in-law, Ann Jamison, Brother-in-law, Mark Jamison and wife, Shari, niece, Kylie Jamison and nephew, Ethan Jamison, Aunt, Sharon M. Boikess and husband Marty, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, William Joseph Shine in 2015, maternal grandfather, James Cyrus Worley, and paternal grandparents, Eileen Mary Shine and Michael Joseph Shine.
A Memorial Service, celebrating her life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX 75225.
