DeBorah peacefully transition from this life on January 17, 2026.

Leaving her loving husband Kenneth Freeman. Four children: Michelle Simpson(Marcus) Michonda Kelly(Morio) Kenneth Barrett(Perla) and Mickendra Barrett(Rayvon) to cherish her delightful memory.

Borah’s life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family. She willingly and faithfully cared for her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, instilling the values of family and unity.

She touched the lives of many with her warmth and infectious smile. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching Criminal Minds, Golden Girls, or any type of gaming show. When time allowed she thoroughly enjoyed gardening at her home and would reward herself by making fried tomatoes and enjoying fresh cucumbers and watermelon that she grew right at home.

Borah loved to spend time with her family, whether she was home, spending time with her husband,  “down home” or a simple local family gathering, she loved her family! Her words were sharp, but they were true. At the end of every conversation, good or bad, she would say, "Well I love you, baby".

Borah’s Legacy continues to live through five "grandbears", DeBorah Bradford(Allen Sr) Marcus Simpson Jr, DeMarcus Simpson, Deiondre Simpson and Jamiya Kelly as well as two great "grandbears", Winston Bradford and Allen Bray Jr, who all knew her as "Mamabear". As she would say " I aint no Granny"

She also leaves her Siblings Belinda Barrett and Glenn Brown as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

DeBorah will be sorely missed by all who knew her, especially for her vibrant spirit.
