

Deloris Faye Tidwell, 80, longtime resident of Cedar Hill, TX, loving wife of Leslie Emanuel Tidwell, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Rock Creek Health & Rehab in Sulphur Springs, TX. She was born to the late Clifford and Stella (Johnson) Stevenson in Grayson, Kentucky, on November 10, 1945. Besides her husband Leslie, of 63 years, she is survived by her children, Rhonda Deiley (Greg), Melissa Blasingim, (Tim) Leslie Dean Tidwell (Lisa), grandchildren Arron Deiley, Olivia Valentine, Trenton Tidwell, Haylee Tidwell, Mandi Clanton (Aaron) Brianne Combest (Jared) and six great grandchildren, Sloane, Anderson, Jonah, Kaylee, Savannah, and Lexy. She will be missed by her sisters, Eula White and Evelyn Downs, and many other nieces and nephews. Deloris and Leslie owned their own business, Dallas Carpet Supply Company, in Duncanville, TX, for more than 30 years. Here, Deloris with her smiling face and always dressed to impress, would always greet you when you walked in the door. Deloris would enjoy the daily crossword puzzles,game shows and was a fan of General Hospital for as long as anyone can remember. Dad had to supply a tv at the shop so she could continue to watch daily. She enjoyed game nights and always seemed to win playing Yahtzee and Rook. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoyed expressing her opinions to the players while watching the games. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 am at Singing Hills Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest, during a private family ceremony, at Little Bethel Cemetery in Duncanville, TX.
