Dennis Irwin Abrams, age 82, of Dallas, TX passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Il on September 23, 1942. Dennis graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, and received his Masters Degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Dennis had a career teaching high school history after college, and then was president of the family owned Ennis Furniture Mfg. Co until his retirement.
He was a member of Congregation Shearith Israel and enjoyed travel, cooking, and the theatre. He had a passion for supporting local theatres in the Dallas Area.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Sid and Constance Abrams, as well as his only brother, Steven.
He was survived by his loving and caring partner, George Dionysius.
