Dominga Ybarra

She went to her Heavenly home on December 25, 2021 at the age of 90. She was born to Santos and Romana Rodriguez on March 1, 1931. She married Arturo Ybarra on January 10, 1955. They built a life of love.

Dominga was a devoted Christian, wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She has a vivacious personality and always made sure she would tell you the truth even if it was not what you wanted to hear. Her words of encouragement, wisdom and comfort kept us in line and gave us life lessons and Christian values to pass down to our children.

She was rarely still and always on the go at home and at the senior citizen community center. At any point in time if you walked into her home, you would be welcomed with a warm smile and meal. All whom loved her dearly would not forget her quick wit, no non sense charm and undying love. When momma got to meet you, she always felt she walked away with a new friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Abenago, Emiliano, Leon and Miguelito; two sisters, Oralia Tarango, Beatrice Felan and one grandson, Pete Joe Martinez Jr.

She leaves behind a brother, Mike Rodriguez; sisters, Dolores Tobias and Josefina Soto; son, Adrian Ybarra; daughters, Yolanda Lopez, Christine Ybarra, Esther Garcia, JoAnn Chavez and Sara Torres; 18 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and dear friends.
