BURT, Donald Winston of Dallas was born on August 31, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and on June 16, 2016 (his mother’s birth date) went to meet his Lord at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Frances “Tani” Piccola Burt. He is survived by his four amazing daughters, Linda Burt, Vicki Burt Johnson and husband, Sam, Toni Burt, Donica Burt Harrison and husband, Dan, and his granddaughter, Damin Harrison. Don graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1948 and attended North Texas State and SMU (’53) and served active duty in the USAF from 1953-56 as First Lieutenant. The majority of his career was as a life insurance salesman with Great West Life. He was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will begin at noon at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, at 12:00p on Monday, June 20. Friends and family with gather afterward (location TBA). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the stroke or Alzheimer’s research foundation(s) of your choice, or a simple prayer for him would be lovely and appreciated.
