Donald Thornton Parks was born July 4, 1945 in Berkley, CA to Harold Thornton and Georgia Parks. He passed away March 31, 2013 in Dallas, TX. He is survived by his wife, Judith A. Parks; son, Alexander T. Parks and wife, Anastasia; daughter, Stephanie S. Willis and husband, Joseph; grandchildren, Kathryn and Preston Willis; sisters, Linda Hilz and husband, Randy, Elizabeth Watson and husband, George. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He received his B.A. in Economics and Marketing at UTA. He worked as Vice President Risk Management for Alexander & Alexander. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 in the Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
