KRAMER, Doris Jensen “Timi”, 85, passed away peacefully at her home, January 5, 2013. Timi was born 9/21/27 in Newark, NJ, the only child of Marion (Partridge) and William Jensen. She attended Russell Sage College and graduated at age 19 from Upsala College in English & Spanish. While flying as a stewardess for American Airlines, she met and married the love of her life, Paul Hardin Kramer. They moved to College Station, Texas until he completed veterinary school. While in College Station, Timi became a founding member and the 1st Secretary/Treasurer for the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. Upon graduation from A & M, Paul and Timi moved to Houston to raise their family. She adored Paul and whatever he was interested in – she tried. She was a private pilot, but spent more time in the “right seat” helping Paul as a navigator and weather guide. Although she loved aviation and was a member of the Houston 99’s & the KIWIs, she spent many hours volunteering at various hospitals and organizations in both Houston and Dallas. She was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband, Paul Kramer and her grandchildren, Stephanie Billings & Daniel Paul Witte. She is survived by her daughters, Christina Billings of College Station & Cathleen Witte of Dallas, her son-in-law, Anton H. Witte, Jr. and her grandson, Patrick Hardin Witte of Dallas, her step-grandchildren, Cynthia Whalen of Baldwinsville, NY, Tracy Fuller of Webb City, Mo., Trey Witte of Charlotte, NC and Guadalupe Melendez of Dallas. The family wishes to thank her loving caregivers, Jakki Washington and Gerri Brown.
