I am so sorry to have learned of Dorothy's passing. I just found out now,  over 1 year later, due to curiosity of not seeing any Facebook Posts from her, as of late. I don't regularly check it....I worked with Dorothy at SBA Disaster Assistance. She was a joy to have as a co-worker and friend. I also made one of the Oklahoma Casino Bus Trips with her after her encouragement. It was a fun time! I will miss the joy her heart provided to everyone I knew she came in contact with. My belated condolences to her family. I will miss her until we meet again in heaven

Great great great Woman, I called her and her sister Mrs Carroll my work mommas!! She will be missed! Also, if you needed to get a bus real quick to go to the Casino, She was the plug!!!  That laugh was infectious!!! Rest easy In heaven!!!

It's has taken me a while to write this because words can not really express the many memories and warm feelings surrounding me as I think of "DOT".  She was a happy, loving person. She loved her family, her bible study class and especially her Lord and Savior.  She has completed her race and came out a victor. 

I will miss the phone calls and remembering not to call you during the Young and Restless.  

I stopped by to see you last night and you look beautiful, like a Jewel. 
Rest in peace my friend, you earned it.

I knew of Dorothy years before I actually met her.  As an AT&T Operator, one of my duties was to win back customers.  Dorothy excelled in this.  She was known far and near as a Winback Champion!    Dorothy visited many operator services offices to teach others her win back skills.  I was privileged to finally work with Dorothy in the AT&T Residential  Customer Service office in Dallas from the mid to late 1990,s until we retired in 2005.

Dorothy was entertaining, warm and caring.  She always had a ready smile and a comical comment.  I  will miss her.

To her family and other loved ones,  I pray that God grant you comfort and that sweet memories of Dorothy help to sustain you.  I am sorry for your loss.

My big sister.  She shared so many things with me during these last few months.  I will cherish everything she said.  A small 9 year old girl taking on the role of a mother.  She said before our Mother died, she told her to take care of her baby.  I use to wonder why she kept Peanut on her hip and didn't play outside.  As an adult, she would fix a full meal on a Wednesday and tell us to bring our Tupperware and take supper home to our families.  John always drove around with Tupperware in his trunk. She started calling me baby sister and I called her big sister.  This Earth is not our home, we are just passing through.  I plan on seeing her and the rest of my family one day!! Aunt Dorthy knew how much I loved the Dallas Cowboys. At this time I was on punishment. I couldn't watch or listen to the games. Bad report card. But she knew how much this was killing me. She would leave her front door open and the tv loud so I could hear the game. Thank you. I love you so much. She would also take joy in teasing me when I would cry that they lost. I cried for both of us.

Dorothy and I worked at ATT for many years ,she would make all of us laugh constanly.. Dorothy always had a smile on her face ,she made everyone laugh even if you were having a bad day, I will truly miss her ...

She was the best friend ever. Never complained and always gave a word of advise whether you wanted to hear it or not.  The best is now at rest.  God called this angel home.  Praise the Lord

Dorothy was like a second mom to me, she never treated me any different from her own she always checked on me and son no matter.. She was best, also she made the Best Spice Cake in the world (LOL).. Still hard to believe that you are no longer here with us anymore, but you will always live in our hearts.. Love You Mama!! RIH Dorothy Jewel..(Mama)..💞💞😢😢💕💕
