Dorothy Rogala Fox

Mrs. Fox passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2011 in her residence in Farmers Branch, TX. Dorothy was born in Ennis, TX to Martin and Julia (Jamroz) Rogala. She graduated Ennis HS in 1945 and married William Emmett Fox Jr. on June 30, 1958. They had 5 children. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, caregiver and friend throughout her life. She worked for many years until her retirement as a Benefits Manager for Atlas Powder Co. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her children Julie Ann Fox, of Arlington, son Emmett and his wife Lisa, 2 grandchildren, Madison Rae and Chandler Sloan of Ovilla, son Martin Bennett of Farmers Branch, daughter Kathleen Louise and her husband David L. Hapeman, 2 grandchildren Cathryn and Emmett of Portland, Oregon, son Patrick Edward and his wife Katie of Denver, Colorado, 1 brother Francis Rogala and his wife Betty of Ennis.

Also surviving is her niece Christi Rogala Miller ,her husband Bernie and son Jess of Ennis, Brother-in-law Bubba Hoefer, nieces Margaret Hoefer of Ennis, Barbara Hoefer Cozart , her husband Edward and their 2 children Julia and Jessica of Canton. Sister-in –law Virginia and James Whitten of Rockwall and their children Teresa Folz. her husband Gil, Jimmy Whitten of Dallas, Christopher Whitten of Dallas. Brother-in-law H.John Fox and Edith Fox of Destin, Florida and their children John, Kathy, Jimmy, Timothy, Emmett, Kevin, Judy, Ejo and their families.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, parents Martin and Julia Rogala and sister Cathryn Hoefer.
