Dorothy Marie Holland

Dorothy Marie Adams Holland was born February 4,1929 to the late Cas Adams and Lula Tinsley in Wells, TX. Dorothy was the 6th of 7 children. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 5, 2021. After high school, Dorothy attended the University of California at Berkley where she met and married Don Irving Holland Sr. She was a devoted wife to Don for 51 years before his passing. From their union 9 children were born. While she served as a proofreader for the Drawing Board Company, she dedicated her life to serving the Lord and her family. Dorothy leaves behind an altruistic and noble legacy that will live on for generations to come.

Dorothy is preceded in death by Don Irving Holland (husband), Herman I. Holland II (son), Ellen J. Berry (daughter), Debra Lurline Holland (daughter), Bernice Martin (sister), Hazel Williams (sister), Rudolf Adams (brother), Opal Adams (brother), Valerie Jones (sister), and Clydell Adams (brother).

She is survived by a sister in-law Mae Ether Adams, children Don I. Holland II (Virginia), Richard Holland, Alice Stephenson (Shelby), Sharon Cornell (Douglas), Frederick Holland (Tina), David Holland (Nichole), 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, a Goddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends.
