Edward Aguilar

Edward Aguilar, age 53 passed away on September 12, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 11, 1969 In Dallas, TX. Edward was raised in West Dallas where he graduated from Adamson High School in 1987. That same year, he married Maria Gallegos and the couple had their only child, Vanessa, in 1988. He was blessed with three grandchildren that filled his heart with Joy, Alexis, Emma, and Freddy. Edward was an X-Ray Technician for over 30 years having most recently worked at Spine Team of Texas. In his spare time Edward enjoyed riding his bike and going for long walks. He loved all kinds of music and cherished the opportunities he had to DJ many events. He also enjoyed playing the bass guitar and drums. He met Elida Avelino in 2017 and the couple married in 2018. Everyone who knew Edward felt his big heart and giving nature. He will be missed by his grandchildren, with whom he spent countless hours watching Disney movies and taking them on family vacations. Everyone Edward knew will greatly cherish his impact on their lives, either through love, friendship, or his humor.

He is preceded in death by his mother Rachel Cadena and his sister Melinda Aguilar. He is survived by his wife Elida Aguilar; daughter Vanessa and son in law Alfredo Lara; his beloved grandchildren Alexis Brianna Lara, Emma Laylanie Lara, and Freddy Lara; siblings Paul Aguilar, Maria and husband Jon Niave, Jacob Aguilar, Gloria Perez Aguilar, Rosemary Rios, Isabel and husband Robert Sanchez, Gilbert and his wife Tina Aguilar; He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
