Eleanor was my mom’s neighbor for 50 years. You couldn’t ask for a better neighbor. She was always there when you needed her. Such a sweet and kind soul. I remember as a child going to see her and she would be boiling chicken for her very spoiled poodles. 😊 I can just picture her walking her dog down the sidewalk. I haven’t seen her since my mom passed in 2012 but have thought about her often. I know she is up in heaven catching my mom up on what has been going on with the neighbors. Prayers for her sweet family that were like a family to me for many years. May she Rest In Peace. xoxo 😘

Eleonore was a guardian angel as nurse and nurse supervisor for both of my grandmothers at Gooden Acres. Her love of the residents and her love for her profession were unyielding. I was fortunate to see her again years later- she was a patient and I was the health care professional this time and or was an honor to help her. Rest In Peace dear lady

I worked for years with Eleonore at Golden Acres. She was always good for a laugh whenever you were around her. She was kind, caring, humble and beautiful. When I think back at my years at Golden Acres, I think of Eleonore. I was proud to call her my buddy. Please except my deepest sympathy. RIP good friend.

Eleanore was the heart of the evening shift at Golden Acres. Administrators could leave knowing that all will be well. She was an excellent nurse who performed her duties with love and compassion. We all loved her sense of humor.
Please accept my sorrow and sympathy for your loss.

This wonderful woman was always so kind and strait forward. She knew how to keep a smile on my face. She made the best deserts. She shared one of her secret recipes with me when i was much younger. I remembered and knew it by heart after just one time. Everytime i go to any family event i will always make her infamous "ugly cake".
To Frank and Ted and Theresa i hope you all are doing okay and pray that you will get through these hard times knowing she has made a huge impact on this world. She definitely will always have a place in my heart. May she now reside in paradise.

Dear Ted, Frank and Teresa,

I am so sorry about the loss of your mother. All of us will miss her cheerful laughter and greetings.

Even though Eleonor and I met about 10 years ago, she and I became very close friends. Our daily phone calls discussing our lives, family, current events and and anything else we could think of were highlights of the day. We always make sure each of us was OK. Thanking of others was her motto.

Knowing Eleonor makes all of us a better person. I will miss her greatly!

My mom, Sally Ann Hughes, doesn't have Internet access so I am posting this message on her behalf. Eleanore was a wonderful friend to my mom! They enjoyed having margaritas at Taco Cabana and going on shopping trips to Walmart. My mom has commented that she won't be able to drive by a Taco Cabana without thinking of Eleanore. Eleanore would ride with my mom anywhere my mom wanted or needed to go. She would stay in the car with my daughter while she slept so my mom could take care of her friend's cats. She was so full of life and energy. I was able to see your mom several times over the past few years. She attended my daughter's second birthday party. I promise that she will hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be missed.

Dear Ted, Frank& Teresa,
I am so sorry for your loss and brokenhearted for all of us that will miss her so much. She & Mom were friends for about 60 years and there was no better friend than your Mom. I loved spending time with y'all when we were kids and continued to love spending time with her through the Circle activities. I told Sabrina Boate that your Mom and Carol were kind of the original Thelma and Louise. My Mom was along for the ride but Elenore and Carol were funniest , fun
loving women I've ever known. I was blessed to have some great conversations with your Mom while my Mom was sick. She checked on us all the time. She helped me lot.
Her light will live on through you her beloved family and hold tight in the comfort of the many memories you have made with her. She's a one of a kind wonderful woman and I will miss her so much.
