I did not have the pleasure of knowing her personally, but know through both of you that she was a very special Woman and a Mother who loved all her children very much. It is not easy loosing someone you have loved so much for so many years and nothing I can say can possibly ease your pain, but please know that both mine and John's hearts go out to you both and you will be in our prayers. May God craddle you in his arms during this time of Sorrow until you see better days ahead. We love you both very much.

Mark and family, so sorry to hear about your mom passing. I didn't know Pat very well, but she was always nice and talkative with me. I remember years ago having a garage sale at my mom's house. Pat came over just to visit and socialize. We talked off and on all day and it was so much fun meeting her (my first time). By the end of the day I knew that I had made a new friend and we hugged tightly when we parted. I think we both made a memory that day at the garage sale because every time I saw Pat after that, we greeted each other warmly with smiles on our faces. Cherish the memories you have of your mom and hopefully they will help carry you through this hard time.

My name is Berta Rae Long.  I am Kevin Booths friend and he is mine.  I have known Kevin since 2007 and there has not been a month pass in our friendship that we have not spent time together visiting and enjoying each other.
In March of this year (2013) I had the pleasure of finally meeting Kevin's mom, Mrs. Booth.  It was mid-morning and both her & I enjoyed telling about ourselves to get to know each other, while sipping on coffee and enjoying her favorite donuts that Kevin made sure she always had.
I remember the day wasn't too warm and wasn't too cold.  She had the window near us halfway opened and the slight breeze made the window curtains sway ,oh so nice.  She told me more than once how much she loved the breeze and loved to look out the window and see the leaves on the trees blowing gently.  She told me her story about a particular tree outside her window in the front yard that she planted when it was just a sprout and how big the tree had grown.
She loved her home and all that it was.  I was happy for her that she was able to stay home and enjoy it, for so many are not able to.
Elinore Booth was a kind, loving, sweet, giving woman and mom and I am very grateful that I got to spend time with her and get to know her.
I will think of her....and I will miss her.
