Esther Perez, 78, of Dallas died on December 1, 2011 in a Dallas nursing home. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She was born in Mabank, TX on November 15, 1933 to Antonio and Ester Guzman Cuellar. She was a longtime member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Dallas.
Survivors include sons; David L. Perez and his wife Donna, Thomas D. Perez and his wife Sondra and Robert M. Perez; a daughter Anne C. Perez-McLaughlin and her husband William; 2 grandchildren Victoria and Andrew Dean McLaughlin; 1 brother Raul Cuellar of Denver, CO; sisters in law Irene Ramirez and her husband Richard, Gloria Cuellar and Margaret Cuellar; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Perez in 1994 and a daughter Helen M. Perez in 1998.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Rd., Dallas with Msgr. John Meyers as celebrant. Burial will follow at Sparkman/Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway in Dallas.
