Evelyn "Sissy" Faye Kay

Evelyn was raised in the Nazarene Church and graduated from W.W. Samuell High School in 1960. She married the love of her life, Carl Webster, in 1959, and together they raised two children. A dedicated and hardworking professional, she spent over 22 years as a credit manager at DIMCO Steel. Sissy lived life with warmth and joy. She loved bowling, dancing, ironing, concerts and music festivals, shopping, and attending the State Fair of Texas—especially her favorite, Big Tex. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a smiling, fun-loving, and wonderful Christian woman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Eunice Ramsey; her husband, Carl Webster; her brothers Ray and Jerry Ramsey; and her sister Mary Godfrey.

Sissy is survived by her daughter Kandy Novey; son Randy Webster and his wife Kelsie; nephew Robert Joe Godfrey; three grandchildren Chad Novey (Kendra), Aaron Webster (Amber), and Kal Carter (Mary); three great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Her legacy of love, laughter, and faith lives on in those who were blessed to know her.

A visitation for Sissy will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a committal to follow from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75228.
