Frank S. LaBarba Jr.

Frank graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1950. Received his B.A. Degree from Southern Methodist University in 1954 and Law Degree in 1956 also from SMU. In 1956 he joined Republic National Bank of Dallas as Vice President and Trust Officer until 1983 before opening his private practice which lasted until the present time.

He was an institution in the Lakewood area and most especially at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Frank and his wife Josephine took special care of numerous family, friends and clients throughout his law practice. He was a charter and active member of St. Thomas Aquinas.

He leaves behind his wife of sixty years Josephine, sons Frank LaBarba III and John A. LaBarba, grandson John LaBarba Jr. and great grandchildren Vincente and Emily LaBarba and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends that he loved like family.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 6306 Kenwood Av. Dallas, TX. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at St. Thomas Aquinas, at 12 noon Friday November 13, Rev. John Libone, Celebrant. There will be a reception following the Mass in St. Ann's Hall. Entombment will take place at Calvary Hill Mausoleum.
