Geneva Chambers was born in East Texas, December 6, 1933 to L.B and Alvirta Barron. She later met and married Earl Chambers Jr. and to this union, 6 children were born. Geneva (Sister) was small in size, but please don’t let that fool you, because she packed a powerful punch. Always known “to tell it like it” and give it to you straight, you could always count on plenty of laughs (especially after the embarrassment ended).
Geneva accepted Christ at an early age. She was one of the founding members of The Embassy Church where she also served as the first Sunday School Teacher.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Patrick and Earl III, both parents; and 2 sisters: Ruby and Brenda.
She leaves to cherish her memory and live in her legacy: sons- Clarence Wayne & Artis Ray; daughters- Maxine (David) & Vanessa (Donald); granddaughters- Natasha, Devin, Shatonya, LaQuana & Tina; great- grands- Tianna, Daontay, Kiya and William; great-great grands- Ta’Leah, A’Laya, Tatianna and Harley Rose; sisters- Cecelia (James), Hattie (Robert), Lynda, Alvirta, Carolyn; brother- Lee (Wanda); sister-cousin, Janice (Philmore); bonus daughter- Vivian and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that will all miss her dearly.
