

George was born March 16, 1919 to Linnie Myrtle Pratt and Randle Lee Bollinger, near Cameron, Tx. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Rebecca Imogene “Jean” Dale Bollinger. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and (5) brothers and sisters.
George pastored churches in Texas, Arkansas, and Kansas. He did mission work in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador and Puerto Rico. He ministered in almost every state in the United States. For many years, he and Jean led tours to Israel. He taught at Bible schools in Baxter Springs, Kansas, and in Houston, Texas. For many years he held various offices in the Full Gospel Evangelistic Association, and was instrumental in the building of many churches and of their Bible school. He and Jean were responsible for building many churches in Mexico.
George is survived by his wife Faye, daughter Cheri Jarvis and husband Wesley of Stinnett, Tx; Linnie Bolin and husband Phil of Wichita, KS; and his brother Don and Robbie Bollinger, Dallas, TX.
George’s grandchildren are Ross Jarvis and Amy of Navasota, Tx, Holly Whitaker and Robert of College Station, Tx, Lee Jarvis and Staci of Guatemala City, Guatemala, Treva Hansen and Kelly of Wichita, Ks.
George’s great-grandchildren are Ashton and Ella Jarvis of Navasota, Tx; Sam Whitaker of San Antonio, TX; Canon and Ainslee Jarvis of Guatemala City, Guatemala; and Karlie Jean, Conner and Levi Hansen of Wichita, Ks.
George was also survived by Donna and Sam Boling, Becky and John Farris, Alton Gunnels, Teresa and Dwayne Word, Angela and Randy Rinehart.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
George’s legacy is that of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and that “only what we do for Christ will last”.
