George H. Leidenheimer Jr. was born October 23, 1922 in New Orleans, and passed away November 4, 2011 in Dallas, TX at the age of 89. A decorated US Army veteran, George served during WWII as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia C. Leidenheimer; parents, Juliette and George H. Leidenheimer of Metairie, LA; and brother, Donald Leidenheimer of Metairie, LA. George is survived by children, Linda Leidenheimer Gardner of Rowlett, TX, Cathy Leidenheimer of Garland, TX, Carey Leidenheimer of Kingwood, TX, and Susan Leidenheimer Clemente of McLean, VA; 3 grandchildren; sister, Jean Kirschner of Florida; brother, Robert Leidenheimer of Virginia and many wonderful friends. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2011 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 950 Trails Parkway Garland, TX 75043. Additional services will be held in New Orleans.
