

Gladys Pascua Forward was born in Carino, Paniqui, Tarlac in the Philippines on February 14, 1952. She graduated college from Philippine Christian University – Mary Johnston College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Class of ’73). She traveled at a young age from the Philippines to the United States. She worked in Georgia then moved to Texas to work as a registered nurse. Not long after arriving to Dallas, she married Stanley Forward. She devoted her entire time, love and attention to her kids and husband, Stanley. She was a mom to her kids and to so many others as well. She was a vibrant woman of God who enjoyed sewing, craft making, cooking, singing karaoke, and playing with all her granddaughters. Pancit, adobo, and fried chicken were just a few of the many foods that everyone not only enjoyed but craved. She was a devoted woman to the church and an active member to Umphress Road United Methodist Church.
Gladys is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Stanley Forward, their children: Christie Forward, Timothy Forward (Mira), Marlon Forward, her step-children: Stanley Forward, Jr., Elaine Forward, and four grandchildren, Tessa, Elaina, Layla, Malaiya, her siblings Anuelina Pascua (Arcadio with children Joel, Elmer, Melvin), Urlina Nuval (children Ronald and Marvin), Recto Pascua (Angelita with children Milcah, Leviticus June, Joy, Jeremiah, John Barry) and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends who she all loved dearly.
