Glenda Kathryn Newsom, 90, of Mesquite, passed away on Friday, September 13th, 2024. She was born October, 18th 1933 to parents, John and Wilmoth Newsom in Kerens, Texas. She was a graduate of Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jimmy Newsom and wife Sue as well as sister-in-law, Liz Newsom. She is survived by brothers John Newsom of Lewisville, Milton Newsom and wife Nell of Canton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation for Glenda will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with committal service at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
