Golie was that sister that we always shared the best laughs with. She traveled to each place that Mona & I lived and we enjoyed some of the best exploratory adventures together. From Balboa Island off the coast of California, to the Hamptons of New York's Long Island, we'd eat & laugh our way through each destination, enjoying all the city had to offer. She will be dearly and sorely missed. The love you showed me, Golie will forever live with me and I am excited to someday rejoice again with you in Heaven.......

I was beyond blessed to have such a caring & fun sister in my life. Len & I will miss our travel adventures, good food & great laughs with her. Can't wait to see you again, sister in Heaven. ❣
 

Tia Golie - I will miss hearing your laugh coming from Tia Lupe’s dining room on holidays and tagging along with you and my mom. But most of all I will miss the sparkle in your eye and big smile every time I saw you, making me feel special. 

You were always there for my family and I when we needed you most. The impact you had on my life is immeasurable and forever lasting. And I will try my best to forgive, live, and love like you. Thank you, Tia Golie, for being the best Tia and Godmother. I will love you forever and miss you always.  

Paul and Benjamin, thank you sharing your Mom with me all these years. She was so proud of both of you and what great men you all had become. 

My favorite memories were when both you and Aunt Lupe visited Melinda and me in Virginia/Maryland. I had so much fun exploring the area with y’all. The best part was listening to you and Aunt Lupe giggles and laughter before bed time. 

Glory! My Beloved & Beautiful sister.  I am heart broken. You were always a friend, buddy & one to keep us laughing.  Thank you for being there for my kids, sharing the boys & grandkids (your chick-a-dees) and the fun & lasting memories we had.  You left us too soon and I will miss you forever.  I know you will be watching from above.

My best memories of Lida Hooe are with you. Being your office helper, and always stopping by the office just to chit chat. Even after I left the school I would come by just to see you and Ms.Cortez. Your personality was so bubbly and welcoming. When you saw me you always made me feel so special, like I was your favorite student, your favorite office helper. You will be missed Ms.Carrion ❤️ May you Rest In Peace.

You had a way of bringing out the fun in people, my mother especially! I could always count on a smile and a hello from you and it always brightened my day. Like most women, being a mom was our biggest joy and spoiling grandchildren was even more rewarding. You spoke highly of how smart your grandchildren were and how when you spoke of them your face radiated happiness. My children loved you immensely and will miss their Aunt Golie dearly as will I. Benjamin and Paul....always speak to your children of the wonderful Nana she was!

I will miss my Aunt Golie. She was one of my favorite Aunts.  When I think of her, I think about the laughs we shared and how she would purse her lips and roll her eyes while saying Guuurl.  I love her and she was one of the ones who welcomed me into the family. I remember when I spent the night at her house and I would stick by her side because I didn’t know anyone.

I am so sorry to hear of Gloria’s passing. I worked with her many years ago at Employers Insurance as a Data Entry Operator. She was so much fun to work with. She always has such a great attitude and was a joy to be around. I will really miss her. God will take care of her.

I am so sad of Gloria’s passing. I worked with her many years ago at Employers Insurance of Texas as a Data Entry Operator. She was so much fun to work with. The stories she could tell. I will really miss that laugh of hers. 

I am devastated at the news that Gloria has gone to be with the lord.  I met Gloria when she was recently married to Ben when I started  working at Employers in the Data Entry Department with her, with our desks being side by side.  Gloria was easy to love with her beaming smile and personality.  We were very close and she became to me the daughter I never had!  Her children even call  me grandma.  When I was so sick a couple of years ago she came and stayed with me and took care of me and I will forever be grateful to her for that.  I will miss her tremendously and it’s like I have lost a daughter.  I share the family’s pain but know she’s not suffering anymore and in the lord’s presence together with her mom , dad and brother.  I pray that the lord will comfort your hearts and give you peace as only he can give.  I know how much she loved all her family and her sons.  Ben, Little Ben, Paul and children, I love you and also pray for God’s comfort for you.  Love you so much, grandma Modie.💕💕💕🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😥😥😥
