Age 90, passed away on June 21, 2018 in Dallas, TX. He was born April 7, 1928 in Valladolid, Neg. Occ, Philippines to Vicente & Generosa Mijares. Glorioso was raised in Valladolid, Neg. Occ. Philippines. He graduated from Doane Baptist Seminary and was a Baptist minister for almost 70 years.
In 1954 he married Liberty Nonato and the couple had 4 children. In his spare time Glorioso enjoyed planting and doing business to help others. He also enjoyed writing about the Gospel, printing it and distributing it. his family and friends will always remember him as a very generous man. His students at the seminary love and respect him.
He is preceded in death by his Wife, Liberty and Daughter, Joy Mijares. He is survived by his Daughter & Son-in-law, Grace & Michael Zabel and their children, Jonathan, Alex, Isabel & Noel; Daughter, Mercy Mijares; Son & Daughter-in-law, Charlie & Cynthia Mijares; Brothers, Vicente Mijares Jr., Olmo Mijares; Sister, Nora Gemoto; Several Nieces & Nephews.
Glory inspired and touched a tremendous amount of people. His life's motto is:
"Only one life will soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last."
