Gwynne Fish

Gwynne was married to David Fish in 1968 and together they enjoyed fifty-six marvelous years of marriage. They raised two wonderful sons who blessed them with four beautiful grandchildren. Gwynne’s greatest passion was her family. She loved every occasion that presented an opportunity to be with her family, and if there was not an official occasion on the horizon, she would create a new one. Fondly known as Grammy, she always made every occasion extra special by adding her loving touches, games, and surprises.

Gwynne was enthusiastic about her faith. She renewed her faith when she joined Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in 2014. She was active in multiple organizations and attended Bible studies with her friends. She leaned heavily on her faith, family, and friends to help her through her battle with cancer. Gwynne was blessed to be able to enjoy being cancer free for 10 years. She promised to give back and did so by mentoring other patients in their battle with cancer and leading the Cancer Support Group at Bent Tree.

She surrounded herself with her many friends and she was devoted to living her life to the fullest. Gwynne found so much joy bringing people she loved together for parties, games like poker and mahjong, trips to the casino, sharing meals, celebrating holidays, birthdays, and more. She cherished her time with her family and friends and unselfishly helped others while spreading her kindness.

Gwynne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will always remain in the hearts of the many people she touched.

Gwynne is survived by her husband David, sons Bryan and Kevin, grandchildren Grant, Alex, Sawyer, and Parker, daughters-in-law Corrie and Karen, and brother Perry.

A memorial service honoring Gwynne will be held on July 1st at 3:00pm in The Chapel at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship Church 4141 International Pkwy, Carrollton, TX 75007.
