Hanna Farah Sahliyeh passed away on November 8, 2023, surrounded by family. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Hanna was born in East Jerusalem, the second of four children. As the eldest son, Hanna left Jerusalem at the age of 17 to work in the travel business and provide for his family. In pursuit of the American Dream, Hanna moved to Dallas in 1977 to start a small travel company. What began as tours of the Holy Land grew into a successful incentive marketing firm with business all over the world. For over 40 years, SEI Meetings and Incentives prospered, clients turned into friends and work never felt like work. More than anything, Hanna loved taking care of people and his unwavering generosity knew no bounds.
Hanna is preceded in death by his mother, Habibah Nawas Sahliyeh and father, Farah Hanna Sahliyeh. He is survived by his first wife, Linda Sahliyeh with whom he shared two daughters, Adriana Sahliyeh Brown and Lisa Sahliyeh Gladnick. He is also survived by his beloved wife, Laura Gilbert Sahliyeh; sister, Layla Hanna (Zaydoun Hanna); brothers, Emile Sahliyeh (Barbara Lindley) and Nabil Sahliyeh (Sandy Sahliyeh); and several nieces and nephews. Hanna was deeply proud of his two daughters and sons-in-law, Preston Brown and Brian Gladnick. His greatest joy arrived later in life in the form of his five grandchildren, Farah Elizabeth Brown, Grayson James Gladnick, Sophie Seibert Brown, Henry George Gladnick, and Theodore Thomas Gladnick.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Glaucoma Research Foundation. A service will be held at 10AM on November 17, 2023 at Saint Michael and All Angels Church in Dallas.
