Williams, Jr., Harold Kenneth “Ken” of Dallas, passed away August 28, 2021, at the age of 56. He was a devoted and loving husband to Diane, his wife of 31 years, and father to his four daughters, Elizabeth, Alex, Amanda and Hallie.
Ken was born June 23, 1965, in Tampa, Florida, to Harold Kenneth Williams, Sr. and Bobbie Jean Williams (née Kilgore). Growing up in the Tampa area, Ken loved fishing and the beach and dreamed of moving back to Florida. He met Diane when they were sophomores in high school and have loved each other every day since. They graduated from Roswell High School in Roswell, Georgia, in 1983. Ken attended the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!) where he was active in his fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega. Ken married his high school sweetheart in 1990 and they lived in Alpharetta, Georgia, until they moved to Dallas in 1999.
Ken has worked in the PEO industry for the last 31 years, most recently with CoAdvantage. He was always a top sales representative, ultimately moving into management, where he mentored many successful sales representatives. He was well respected and beloved by his co-workers.
As a work mentor, husband and father, Ken loved encouraging others and cheering them on. He routinely told friends and family that he felt their successes and triumphs were his own.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Kenneth Williams, Sr. and mother, Bobbie Jean Kilgore. Ken is survived by his wife Diane and his four daughters, Elizabeth, Alex, Amanda and Hallie. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at 11:00 Friday, September 3, 2021, at Munger Place church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
