Harry and Bernice's children, 
Our lives have certainly been enriched knowing all of you, more so, mom and dad, since we were with them more often. Troy and I will never forget our early days at Dallas First Assembly with Harry and Bernice inviting us into their home one Sunday evening after service (early 70's), as I told Sarah, I even remember what the lady served!!!..cherry tarts and coffee,and could that woman cook!!! They both had the sweetest attitude to other people and were so caring and thoughtful. They helped nurture us into this church, what a blessing they were and faithful to God and a loving family. We are blessed with good memories, as you are, of these wonderful people. Pastor Edger Palser was a firm believer in the church showing hospitality to newcomers, and we are still there!!! Love you all, glad to visit with each of the children.

Stan,Judy and Sarah, John and I would like to express our sympathy at the passing of your Mom. I will always remember the Church Christmas Caroling on the bus each year and we would stop for breakfast at your parent's home.  They went all out for all the kids and made us all feel right at home. Both of your parents were always so gracious.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

Our families shared life together many years ago. Our parents, bought homes, cars, boats, and businesses together. We had parties, vacations, Sunday school, church camps, piano lessons and many sleepovers together. Our mothers were like second mothers to each other. And then, life took us our separate ways. So, many years have passed, but for now, we share the beautiful memories of long ago and know we are blessed of God.

Aunt Bernice,

I am so glad that I got to visit last year. We talked on the phone Christmas and as usual it was special. The memories that I hold in my heart will be there forever. Over the years you and Harry visited my folks in CA many times and we visited you in Texas. One of my memories had you and Harry visiting my folks in CA and Harry driving my new 1962 Corvette. Luckily you had a video camera and I recorded you both from the roof of our house. Thanks for being such a great Aunt. Rest in peace.

Our Dear Stanton, Judy and Sarah,    When we became a part of the staff at Dallas First Assembly, 43 years ago, 5 of the greatest of that wonderful congregation became some of our dearest lifelong friends. Bernice and Harry, and you three, instantly wrapped your arms around us as family. We remember the great times with you.  And now, Heaven is so much richer and that much more of our goal with your parents together there.  Norma and I send our sincere love, sympathy, prayer and thoughts to you and your families. What is a Mom?
One short question.  Four simple words.  Each of us answers it in a different way based upon our own personal experience.  Books have been written about what it means to be a Mom.  Countless poems have been penned about Mom’s.  Though some thoughts carry through in each prose, every one is flavored with a unique and individual emotion.
From my perspective, the word “Mom” is colored with many attributes…as many as the colors in a rainbow.  I could fill this page with words about what “Mom” means to me and still I wouldn’t scratch the surface in describing my Mom.  Just the single thought of Mom stirs up a deep love in my heart.  A love that transcends words.  A love that completely encompasses me.  A selfless love.  A giving love.  A guiding love.  An instructing love.  A correcting love.   A disciplining love.  A comforting love.  A healing love.  A praying love.  A gentle love.  A tough love.  Each of those describe my Mom’s love.  
I am so blessed.
My Mom is a perfect example of what a Mom should be.  Today, at 90 years old she remains an inspiration to me.  It is hard to remember a time when she spoke badly about someone.  She always sees the positive and rarely the negative.  She offers words of encouragement to those around her.  She is honest and truthful, always.  She doesn’t say necessarily what we want to hear; but rest assured she speaks what is right and exactly what we need to hear.  She is a woman filled with wisdom and understanding.
My Mom has walked through the valley of death all the while staying close to Jesus, leaning on him when her heart was grieving.  Daily she finds her strength in the Lord.  Not a day goes by that my Mom doesn’t hold our family up in prayer.  I’m sure her tears along with her prayers have made an eternal impact on our lives.
I am so very blessed to have such an honorable Mom!  I thank God for allowing me the privilege of being her daughter.

What a precious part of our childhood is gone. How many sundays did we spend together? She was always smiling no matter what we pitched at her. God is gathering his saints home! Wish I could be there for you guys, but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this celebration time of her life

You will be missed but never forgotten! Jonathan, Gabriella and I look forward to seeing our Meme B. again one day in heaven. Oh what a day that will be! See you soon!

Our sympathy goes out to Bernice's family. She and our mom were BFF's as mom says. She will be missed, but we have wonderful memories to keep in our hearts. She was special!

Dear Judy,Sara,& Stan,  Joe and I are so saddened with the death of your mother.  We will miss her.  She was a dear friend and neighbor; always smiling,and happy.  She was a real joy to know. I'm sorry that we will not be at her funeral, but due to the time element, I will be with my Dad.
