Born in Wichita Falls to Edward and Pauline Klein, and raised in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Henry attended the University of Oklahoma and was a member or the marching band playing in the 1950 Sugar Bowl.
Henry worked first in the family’s business, Klein’s Department Store in downtown Ardmore. To this day, there is a plaque commemorating the location of the store.
Henry served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked in the brokerage industry, retiring from Merrill Lynch just shy of 40 years or service.
Henry is survived by his wife Lucille, sister Betsy Braver, sons Steve (Amber) and Ed, daughter Jennifer, and grandchildren, nephews and nieces, and friends.
Known for his dry humor and love of all things “boat,” he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to have been a part of his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Graveside services for the family will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
