Henry Neuhoff, III died on March 12, 2022. He was born to Henry Neuhoff, Jr. and Jane Rose (Hudson) in Dallas, Texas, on October 13, 1934. He was a graduate of Holy Trinity Catholic School, Jesuit High School and the University of Notre Dame. Most of his working career was spent with the family meat packing company, Neuhoff Bros. Packers, Inc. He was a member of the Saint Rita Catholic Community where he and Kay were founding members of the parish. Henry was a generous and active supporter with both his time and treasure to many local charities and organizations, including the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.
Mr. Neuhoff is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine “Kay” (Roberts), the love of his life for 64 years; seven children and their spouses, Ellen Elpers (Kevin), Henry Neuhoff, IV (Helen McKinney), Carolyn Shaw (Scott), David Neuhoff (Beth Dickson), Mary Jane Brezette (David), Michael Neuhoff (Marianne Welch) and Steven Neuhoff (Nancy Weichsel),;20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited at St. Rita Catholic Church by Rev. Robert Keane, S.J. on Sunday, March 20th, at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 21st, at 11:00 am at St. Rita Catholic Church, Rev. Joshua Whitfield, celebrant. The Neuhoff family will visit after the Mass in the St. Rita Parish Commons. A private burial will follow at the Calvary Hill Mausoleum.
The eldest grandson in each of his children’s families will serve as Pallbearers: Matthew G. Elpers, Henry Neuhoff V, Ryan R. Bellomy, Thomas S. Shaw, Trevor D. Neuhoff, William H. Brezette, Jordan C. Neuhoff and Stice Neuhoff.
