

On a warm summer date on July, 11, 1963, time stood still as Albert Addison Smith and Emma Jean Smith welcomed a brand-new baby boy into the world. They were overjoyed and full of hope for this new addition to their family.
Howard fondly known as "Bo C", accepted Christ at an early age locally in the Dallas Community. He was baptized at the Abraham Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. Lewis L. Hooker in Dallas, Texas.
He was a roofer by trade, but he was mostly known as the "Domino King" and had bragging rights. An avid fan of the Jerry Springer show, he predicted the outcome before it was revealed. Bo. C loved watching TV.
Bo. C was a loving and caring family man who had love toward his family and friends, especially for his children and sister Diane.
Bo. C has now joined his heavenly family for a reunion where he rejoice in the heavenly welcome of his granddaughter, Quacy Jacob, his parents Albert and Emma Jean Smith; his grandparents Mary, Brothers and Willie Mae Searcy; his favorite aunts, Willie Mae Mitchell and Jessie Lee Daniels; his big sister and brother, Rosemary Smith Frazier and Albert Smith Jr.
Bo. C leaves behind to mourn his passing: his children, Tario Ferrell and Angel Ferrell; a loving little sister, Diane Smith; an aunt Nancy Bennett (JB); his uncles, Jimmy Ray Searcy and O.C. Searcy; brother-in-law, Eddie P. Calhoun; bonus brother, Lionell Richardson; eight grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, very special friends, Anthony and Debra Watkins and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Funeral will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Dallas, TX 75232, US, on April 1, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
