

Tommy Snodgrass, 70, of Dallas passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, October 2, 2015. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, brother, son and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born in Dallas, TX on September 30, 1945 to Hugh and Myron Snodgrass. His father was Judge Hugh Snodgrass, Sr., a well-known defense attorney and distinguished Dallas District Judge. Tommy was a life-long resident of Oak Cliff and attended Sunset High School, class of 1964. While at Sunset he was a member of the Varsity Football Team. After High School he attended East Texas State University. After college Tommy went to work for Bill Massey Furniture. After several years of being in the furniture business and working for others, Tommy opened his own store, “Tom Snodgrass Furniture” 505 E. Main Street, Grand Prairie, TX. Tommy has been a long time fixture in the Grand Prairie business community. On September 15, 1979 Tommy married Gloria Williams. Tommy enjoyed time with his family, following sports, collecting Dr. Pepper memorabilia, and keeping up with an extensive network of friends. Tommy will always be remembered as the “ringleader” for all the Sunset (64) class reunions. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Norma Kay Snodgrass Hernandez. Survivors include his wife, Gloria, and brother, Mark Snodgrass.
