Dr. Huntly Gordon Chapman passed away Friday, April 22, 2016. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on July 28, 1946 where he graduated from medical school. Dr Chapman later moved to Dallas where he practiced as an orthopedic surgeon for almost forty years. He was invested as a Knight of
Magistral Grace in the Order of Malta Federal Association in September 2015. He participated in their annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady in Lourdes, France where he assisted the sick.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Karen Chapman, daughters Chantal Poole and Kaitlin Benz, son –in- law John T Poole III, grandsons Jack and Huntly Poole, sister Mary Claire Chapman, and brother-in-law Tony Borg. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving, Texas.
