Ida Bartosh Fehmer Obituary Born September 3, 1921, passed away, November 15, 2009, Graduated from Waco High School in Waco, TX. Joined the Cadet Nurse Corps and trained in nursing at Robert B. Green Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, TX from 1943 – 1946, where she cared for many soldiers who returned home from the war. Graduated in 1946 as a Registered Nurse, She continued her nursing career at the Dallas VA Medical Center where she cared for veterans for over 35 years until she retired. Loving mother and grandmother, strong faith in God, and active in the Altar Society at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, as well as various social organizations. She is preceded in death by: Parents – Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bartosh; Brothers – Eugene Bartosh, John Bartosh, and her sister that died as a small child; Survived by: Brother – Henry Bartosh; Children – Mark Fehmer, Paul Fehmer, Mary Clear (Mary’s spouse Joseph Clear); Grandchildren – James Clear, Ryan Clear who gave her great joy in her later years; Ex-husband – Rubert Fehmer (father of her children); and many nieces and nephews
