He married his wife Ignacia Vega on September 25, 1954. They were married for 61 years. He worked for Gardner Denver for 30 years as a machinist making equipment for oil rigs. He then worked for Mesquite ISD as a custodian for 28 years.
He only went up to the 5th grade but he was able to achieve his GED at the age of 56. He was involved with the Boy Scouts and enjoyed going camping with his son.
He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He religiously read his bible and his faith was very strong. He lived his life knowing God.
Ignacio is proceeded in death by his wife Ignacia Rodriguez. He is survived by son Jesse Robert Rodriguez and his daughter Rosa Gomez and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
