Mrs. Inez M Johnson Greer

On August 6, 1938 in Marshall, Texas, God blessed William (Bill) and Lilly Bell Johnson with Inez Marie Johnson Greer. Inez entered eternal peace on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. At an early age she professed her love for Jesus Christ from New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas and later rededicated her life to Christ at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Inez graduated from Lincoln High School in 1956, where she was the head majorette for the Lincoln Tigers. Later in life she continued her education where she received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Cedar Valley College. She met and married the love of her life, Charles Greer, where their union prevailed for 59 years. To this union four children were born. Her career path led her to Texas Instruments, Zerox, and to fly with Southwest Airlines, where she earned her wings to fly for life and now she’s at rest with the Lord. Lois was preceded in death by her mother, father, (3) three brothers, and (3) sisters, and her oldest son, Charles Greer, Jr. She will be greatly missed, but her memories will be cherished by her wonderful and loving supportive husband of 59 years: Charles Greer, Sr., her loving children: Jacquelyn, Mark, and Sheila; a beloved sister, Mae Dell Odom; grandchildren: Khalahia, and Charles III; and daughter-in-law: Carolyn Greer; and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
