Irais Estela Roman, a devoted Catholic, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on July 16th, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born on December 15, 1948, in Guerrero, Mexico, to Carlos Gonzalez and Catalina Gonzalez-Olivares.
She is preceded in death by her parents Catalina and Carlos Gonzalez, her son’s Carlos and Samuel Roman. She is survived by her children: Roberto, Margarita, Raul, Roger, Norberto (Maile), Gene (Liza) & Roberto II (Erica), 21 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Irais’ life was a testament to her unwavering faith and love for her family. She found great solace and strength in her devotion to the Catholic Church. Her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her. Irais was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love within her family and church community.
Irais loved her family above all else and always made sure to show them with love and care, she was the matriarch of the family. Irais had a passion for gardening and spent time tending to her beautiful flowers and plants. She enjoyed spending time with her family and at family gatherings. She enjoyed cooking, watching movies and church retreats.
Irais’ spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friend’s through memories they shared. She is now in eternal peace and rest in the embrace of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Irais leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion and faith, cherished by her family.
May Irais Estela Roman rest in eternal peace, embraced by the loving arms of our Lord and reunited with family who have gone before her.

All services will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln., Dallas, TX 75220.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31st from 4pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 1st at 1pm; Burial to follow at 2pm.
