Irene de la Cruz Camacho

Irene de la Crúz Camacho, age 86, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2015 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Garland, Texas. She was born on August 3, 1929 to José de la Crúz and Blasa Gonzales. Irene was our family rock and Daddy's Queen.

She is survived by: her husband, Domingo Zamora Camacho; daughter, Mary Ann Garcia and her husband Ruben; and grandchildren, Jessica and husband Armando, Jr. Cabrera; Carmen and husband Juan Vaquera Rodriguez; Sylvia and husband Antonio Esquivel; Juan and wife Karina Cardenas, Jr.; Crystal Cardenas and husband Alejandro Euresti and Myda Tovar. Irene is also survived by Cynthia, Mariah, Armando III, Zabrina, Michael, Anna, Irene, Jacob, Maryjane, Joselynn, Vincent, Elias and Rene, her great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a third great-great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her sisters Irma Velasquez, Elvia Soto and Juanita Villalobos. Also her little cupcake. In addition, she has angels with whom she has reunited in Heaven. These include: her daughter, Juanita Tovar Cardenas; and her brothers Miguel and Eduardo.

The family will receive friends at the Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 27, from 4:00-8:00PM. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 6:00PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 28, at 12:00 Noon in the Calvary Hill Mausoleum North Chapel with interment at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery to follow.
