Isabel Richey, 93, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on July 12, 2015 surrounded by friends. Isabel was born in Jefferson City Missouri in 1922. She was blessed to live in many places during her lifetime. She met her late husband, Fred Richey, in California, where she worked as a machine operator in an airplane manufacturing plant exemplifying the "Rosie the Riveter" icon during World War II. She, her husband, and children lived in California, where they settled. When the children were grown, the Richey family made their move to Dallas. Isabel was a devout Catholic, and a long time parishioner of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Carrollton, Texas. Beloved wife, mother, and friend, Isabel will be remembered for her beautiful smile, laughter that filled the room, and the love she shared with those around her.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 12:00p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
