Jackson was born in South Bend, IN but was fortunate to have amassed many friends and loved ones having also lived in Massachusetts, Kentucky and Texas. In his younger years, Jackson loved playing sports including basketball, baseball, and football. It was on the football fields in South Bend that he was affectionately nicknamed JC. During his freshman year of high school, Jackson took on the sport of wrestling, in which he was a natural, having success in both his freshman and sophomore years.
After graduating from Bishop Lynch High School, Jackson attended the University of Oklahoma where he was planning to return to in the Fall.
Jackson’s infectious personality and kind heart were recognized by all he met. He enjoyed spending time with and showing affection to the family pets, Tucker, Ellie, and Sugar, and was always convinced he was one move away from winning any big video game tournament. To say he put others before himself was an understatement. His ability to make others laugh and bring levity to stressful situations was unmatched.
Jackson is survived by his mom, Stacey, dad, Nate, and little sister, Reese. He also leaves behind a village of loved ones including his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for Jackson will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX.
