

James R. Cleveland "Jim" was born on March 11, 1939, in Dallas, Texas. He grew up in Oak Cliff and attended South Oak Cliff High School. Jim began his family and career at an early age. He was self-employed in the auto repair business in his early twenties and grew a business that included multiple locations. He had several other real estate holdings as well.
Jim was known for his outgoing personality, honesty, and the desire to be the best person he could be. He had a lasting positive impact on many and could always be counted on to help those in need, whether it was a monetary gift or the gift of his time such as the active role he played at Kessler Park Baptist Church.
Jim and his high school sweetheart, Judy, raised three sons. Jim is survived by his son Chuck and his wife Lori, son Chris and his wife Cristi, grandchildren Cody and wife CiCi, Kurt and his wife Courtney, Chad, Cassidy, Kennedy, Alyssa Pickles and husband Elliot, and great grandchildren Cami, Colt, Hudson and Violet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sally, siblings, son Guy and grandson, Clint.
Later in his life, Jim married Pam Harding and quickly accepted her family as his own.
Jim went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2024 at his home in Oak Cliff.
Services will be held at Laurel Land on January, 17. Visitation is in the Chapel from 12:30 - 2:00. The funeral service will begin immediately afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kessler Park Baptist Church or to the SPCA
