Janice attended South Oak Cliff High School and was a graduate of America’s National Christian College, Certified Nurse’s Aide Academy and CNA Certified.
She was employed by Dallas ISD for over 30 years as a cook, and Duncanville ISD as a Lead Custodian, as well as a CNA for Brown Consultants.
Janice hobbies includes fishing, shopping, gardening, and had a passion for just being with her family.
She achieved a certification in Cooking and Certified Nurse’s Aide.
Survived By: Children - Terrie (Harold) Johnson, Jonathan (Jackie) Freeney, Grandchildren – Deon Fridia, Zyion Petry, Zakyra Petry, Essence Freeney, Jonathan Freeney Jr., Jonai Freeney, and Jalaiah Freeney. Sisters – Deborah Hill, Rosiland (Hurdis) Page, and Nicole Jones, Janice Sanders, Carlos Smith, and Ella Price. Brothers – Joseph Jones, and Harvey (Tonya) Jones, Kenneth (Jewel) Freeney, Marvin (Faye) Freeney, and Donald Freeney. A host of Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, and Friends.
Predeceased By: Mother – Ineza Chancellor, Father – Joseph Jones, Husband – Miguel Freeney, Mother in Law – Lucille Freeney, and Brother in Laws – Robert Freeney, Curtis Freeney, & Both Maternal and Fraternal Grandparents.
