Jason Everett Merito passed away after a brief illness on March 2, 2014. Jason was born on May 20, 1970 in Dallas, TX. Only 43 years old, and already he touched many lives with his gift of music. Although he enjoyed music, his greatest love was his family. Jason will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jason was preceded in death by his daughter, Audrina Adora Merito. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Phelps; mother, Mary J. Vasquez; father, John Merito; sister, Lisa Hart; aunts, Margaret Moreno and Stella Sandoval; special cousin, Marc Gelacio; other cousins, family and many friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:30 pm with a Rosary at 6:30 pm on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, March 7, 2014 at Calvary Hill North Mausoleum Chapel. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Tx .Pallbearers will be Marc Gelacio, Danny Banda, Miguel Sanchez, Lionel Folkmann, Mike Pritchett and Bob Hood.
