Funeral services will be at 2pm on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Grove Hill Funeral Home’s Chapel. Burial will take place at DFW National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
Jerry was born on March 16, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Thomas Harrison and Lilah L. Taylor. He married Kay Wilson Taylor on October 7, 1989, in Dallas. He was a DJ/Emcee for many years. He also was a Lifetime Member at VFW Post 6796 in Dallas.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Kay; step-son, Durant Greenwood and wife Elizabeth; step-daughter, Jana Hanna and husband Kelly; two grandsons: Robert Durant Greenwood and William Wilson Greenwood; three step-brothers: Dwain Taylor, Dan Taylor, and David Taylor; nephew, Eric Taylor; and a niece, Lisa Clarkson.
