Jessie Ben Daniels Rollins

Jessie Ben Daniels Rollins (1922-2016) went peacefully to meet her Lord on Sunday April 10, 2016 closing her eyes and drifting to the heavens. Jessie was born on November 17, 1922 to Velma Sinclair and Joseph Lemore Daniels in Beckville Tx. Jessie was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Judy Rollins who succumbed to cancer in 1973 at 21 yrs old and her sister Brownie Jo Daniels Martin in 1988. Jessie was a kind, soft spoken, loving mother/grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Her laugh was contagious and always present wherever she went. She was a member for many years of Cliff Temple Baptist Church, where she worshiped and enjoyed her many friends. Jessie spent her 35 year career working for Sanger Harris and continued when it became Foley's in Dallas Tx, as a manager in many different departments. She enjoyed traveling especially where there was a beach. She was always ready to have some fun and enjoyed life to the fullest, especially the slots in Shreveport La. She made friends easily on her travels and many cruises . Living first at the Remington Retirement Community and the last 6 years at the Silverado Valley Ranch Memory Care Center. She is survived by her son Wilford Rollins (Phyllis) of Nacoghoches, TX, daughter Gloria Rollins, of Dallas, TX, Susan Jones (Gerald) of Grapevine, TX, and son Jack Rollins of Red Oak, TX, her brother Jack L Daniels (Carol) of Sugarland, TX, Grandchildren, Jeremy Jones (Brenda), Brent Rollins (Desiree), Julie Wofford (Oscar), Christi Ochoa, Tara Rollins, Bryan Jones (Elizabeth), and Deven Rollins, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
